What we store

• Without an account: your settings, your driver and your records stay in your browser (local storage). A random identifier (cookie jk_gid) counts sessions anonymously.
• With an account: username, email (to recover your password), encrypted password, country, driver colors, lap times and racing lines (ghosts), XP, groups and chat messages, type of device used (Android, iPhone or computer).
• Announcements: using your email, we may let you know once when the KART GP app for your phone is released. Every email has a link to stop receiving them.
• Live races: your username and your position on track during the race, visible to the other drivers in that race.
• End-of-game feedback: your rating, your message and technical info (browser, screen, frames per second) to fix bugs.
• A fingerprint of your IP address (hashed, not reversible) helps prevent abuse.

Cookies and third-party services

• jk_auth (login), jk_gid (anonymous player), jk_lang (language): required for the game.
• Visitor statistics: Clicky (audience measurement).
• Advertising: Google AdSense, only on the home page and leaderboards, never during a game. Google may use cookies according to your consent choices.
• Photo of your kart (optional): the image is sent to an AI service (OpenRouter) to read its colors, and is not kept by the game.

Your rights

You can edit your information in "My account" and ask for your account and data to be deleted at hello@kart-gp.com. Data is hosted in France (OVH). You can also contact the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr).
