Create your track
Draw it on paper and take a photo, trace your kart track on the satellite view, or find it on the map. In a few seconds it becomes a real playable track, with lap times, medals and a leaderboard.
You can try everything without an account. To publish your track, you'll just need a free account (10 seconds).
- On a sheet of white paper, draw your track with a black marker, in a single line that is properly closed (or two lines for both edges of the track).
- No crossings: a figure-8 track would need a bridge, which isn't possible yet. Leave some space between two parts of the track.
- Take the photo flat, close up, without shadows, then import it: the layout is detected automatically. You can move the yellow points to fix it.
- Choose the real length (700 to 1,200 m for a kart track), then “Generate the track”.
- Search for the track (name, town) or paste a full Google Maps link or coordinates.
- Zoom in all the way, then tap the middle of the track all the way round, in the race direction, starting from the finish line. One point every 10 to 20 m, closer together in the corners.
- Drag a point to fix it, tap it to delete it, tap the line to add one. The loop closes by itself.
- Search for a town or a kart track, or move the map over it, then “Find tracks here”.
- Tracks drawn by OpenStreetMap contributors appear in colour: pick the right one.
- The layout is loaded: fix it if needed (pit lane, shortcuts), then generate.
- Draw your track in one go, with your finger or the mouse, without lifting. The loop closes by itself.
- No crossings. Then you can move the yellow points, and generate.
No photo yet.
Draw inside the frame.
For a layout traced on the map, the real length is calculated automatically.
